Favorite Vegetable Varieties

We will discuss the merits of numerous vegetable varieties that have proven easy to grow in central Kentucky. Many of these feature atypical colors or other things you may not have encountered. This is not a class about how to grow vegetables but a discussion of proven performers that are likely to end up on your list every year. We will send you home with seeds for your own garden. Cost: $10.00

Notes - ~ MUST register in advance for ALL CLASSES, including the “Free” ones. ~ Sign up early for classes to avoid being turned away because the class is full. All classes have limited seating. ~ For classes that have a fee, the fee MUST be paid at the time of registration or within 14 days to hold your seat. If the class fee is not paid within 14 days, your registration for the class will be cancelled. ~ If you need to cancel your registration for a class with a fee, you must do so 14 days prior to the class to receive a refund. Please email or call the Fayette County Extension Office to cancel. ~ Seeds distributed as part of Favorite Vegetable Varieties class must be picked up at the Fayette County Extension Office by 3:00pm on January 27th. Any seeds not picked up by 3:00pm on January 27th will be donated. (Seeds will be distributed at the end of the class.) ~ To mail in your payment, please make check or money order payable to Fayette County Horticulture Program.
